Join the library’s Dissertation Office for a one-hour information session that will provide tips on using MS Word to format your dissertation or thesis. Topics to be covered include:

  • Formatting page numbers
  • Section breaks
  • Using Styles
  • Automatic Table of Contents
  • Figures and Captions

and more! The session will address common concerns of students, with time allotted at the end for individual questions. This event is part of our Fall series of workshops for students graduating in February 2025.

Roxanne Shirazi serves as Head of Archives and Special Collections at the library and oversees the Dissertation Office, which administers the dissertation, thesis, and capstone deposit procedure for graduating students.

Roxanne is the librarian for Sociology, IMS, QMSS, and Film Studies.
