At the Spring 2025 Friends of the Mina Rees Library luncheon and book talk, Dr. Asheesh Kapur Siddique will discuss his new book, The Archive of Empire: Knowledge, Conquest, and the Making of the Early Modern British World. Dr. Siddique is an assistant professor of history at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he researches and teaches on early modern global history, early American history, and the history of knowledge. A discussion with Dr. James Lowry, Director of the Graduate School of Library and Information Studies at Queens College, will follow.
