Wikipedia & You: An Introduction to Scholarship on the Internet's Largest Reference Resource Online

People around the world visit Wikipedia when they want to learn about a new topic, but did you know it’s one of the primary traffic drivers to peer-reviewed research as well? This session will introduce attendees to the “encyclopedia anyone can edit,” with a specific focus on its relationship to the scholarly community. Topics will include the representation of researchers and their work, as well the use of Wikipedia in the classroom.

This webinar is part of the Funding Fridays webinar series co-hosted by CUNY's Office of Research and Office of Library Services.
