Dissertation and Thesis Deposit Information Session (February degree) Online
The library’s Dissertation Office is holding a one-hour information session for students filing for a February 2022 degree. Topics covered include:
- Overview of the deposit procedure
- Document and file preparation
- Copyright concerns
- Citation & plagiarism
- Embargoes (access restrictions)
The session will address common concerns of doctoral and master’s students, with some time allotted for individual questions. The main presentation will be recorded and made available to registrants.

Roxanne Shirazi serves as Head of Archives and Special Collections at the library and oversees the Dissertation Office, which administers the dissertation, thesis, and capstone deposit procedure for graduating students.
Roxanne is the librarian for Sociology, IMS, QMSS, and Film Studies.
